Project Overview

Sytner Group, the UK's leading automotive retailer for luxury and performance cars required a new component that would link customers from the group level page to the vehicle search page to increase traffic, conversion rates and vehicle sales.

Challenges

Reduced Conversion Rates  

There was a reduced conversion rate from users entering the website through the group level page where physical stock wasn't currently visible.

Link between Group and Vehicle Search Page

A link between the group level and vehicle search page was required to facilitate more views of vehicles and thus increase sales.

Objectives

New Component

Design a component that would sit within the group level page providing a visual cue of current stock options with links to see more.

Responsiveness

The component needed to work efficiently across all devices.

Increase Conversion Rates

Increase conversion rates through the implementation of the new component.

Solution

The physical stock component was created. It utilises dynamic content pulled from the data of available vehicles within the company. A series of vehicles are shown nested with a carousel design allowing the customer to browse a selection of those currently available. Clicking on a vehicle card takes the customer to the vehicle description page. Additional links to 'see more' take the customer to the search results page where they can browse an increased selection of vehicles.

Results

The physical stock component was an instant success and contributed to tangible business growth. The following results were generated through interactivity of the component.
